Walkability is key priority to improving the short and long term health of our community. While this sounds like simply an infrastructure concept it impacts every facet of life.
Car first supported infrastructure negatively impacts our economy, our physical health, our mental health, and our safety.
A more walkable city would provide the framework for our community to literally becoming less isolated and more connected. This is a nonpartisan issue that has nearly irreversible consequences. The representative of House District 22(Daniel) should consider this to be near the top of the priority list for our community.
